Journey into the past: an open-air Museum of Folk Architecture and Rural Lifestyle!
This place, a genuine concentration of Belarusian culture, will deliver the flavor of our country to you. The Belarusian State Museum of Folk Architecture and Rural Lifestyle ‘Strochitsy’ is located in Ozertso village and is one of the most exciting and picturesque locations for excursions over the whole territory of Belarus!
Time and place of departure : September 23, 10:00 a.m., from ‘DoubleTree by Hilton’ Hotel, 9 Pobediteley Avenue.
Duration: 6h (including transfer service)

The programme :
- Travelling around the museum village and acquainting with numerous monuments notable for their diverse interiors.
- Belarusian handicraft workshops: weaving from straw and clay modeling.
- There will be an opportunity to play traditional Belarusian games and dance to the accompaniment of folk music.
- Visiting the Pokrovskaya Church built in the 18 century! By the way, there is a public barn of the same time nearby which was used to store food supply in case of bad harvest.
- The school dated back to the early 20 th century as well as display of complexes of three peasant farms will become a separate point of the excursion.
- A delicious national dinner and tasting of Belarusian homemade tinctures will complete the excursion.
